Small medical device manufacturer is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to manage projects relating to assembly automation, machine maintenance, process development and support the day-to-day manufacturing operations. Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum of seven to ten years of progressively responsible, engineering experience. Two years in medical device industry preferred. Substantial experience in the development and implementation of manufacturing systems and procedures for high-speed automation assembly of plastic components. Experience in both developing and the leadership of manufacturing engineering and machine maintenance teams. Must be experienced in GMP procedures for the assembly of medical components and devices, lean and six sigma, and some experience with budgeting and managing other engineers.
Software Engineer
Medical device company is searching for a Software Development Engineer with seven to ten years of experience designing software for the medical device industry. BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent. Extensive experience programming in C/C++ using Visual C++ . Knowledge of Visual Basic, Access, and SQL required. Experience working with OOP, MFC, Windows CE Platform Builder, TCP/IP, networking, and serial communication. Knowledge of Unicode, internationalization and localization are a plus.
